Junior Achievement and Goodwill of Southern Nevada Open Career Center Dedicated to Serving Emerging Workers

JA Career Center managed by Goodwill Career Services guides 16-to-25-year-olds into the workforce

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (June 3, 2025) – Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada (JA) and Goodwill of Southern Nevada (GSN) will formally open a new career center dedicated to guiding individuals between the ages of 16 and 25 into the local workforce.

As the region’s newest workforce development center, the JA Career Center managed by Goodwill Career Services leverages the organizations’ respective strengths to reach and guide emerging workers into careers that do not require a college degree.

“Everyone who wants to work should have the opportunity to gain meaningful employment that leads to a thriving career,” said GSN President and CEO Rick Neal. “In particular, young people can benefit from the guidance of a personal career coach to explore career interests and options at no cost to them.”

“Junior Achievement has longstanding relationships with students starting as early as kindergarten and extending throughout high school,” said JA President & CEO Michelle Jackson. “Goodwill’s understanding of the local workforce training and employment landscape builds on JA’s expertise in financial education to help young people enter the workforce with knowledge, confidence, and a clear path to upwardly mobile careers in healthcare, transportation, and skilled trades.”

The JA Career Center managed by Goodwill Career Services is open weekdays 9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. at the Junior Achievement Inspiration Center, 4440 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89121. For information visit https://www.goodwillvegas.org/career-services.
