Goodwill of Southern Nevada Thrift Stores to Support the Arts Community Coalition Nevada in July

Care-to-Care program invites Goodwill customers to support local community art projects

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (June 28, 2025) – Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s (Goodwill®) yearlong 50th anniversary celebration continues with a July fundraising campaign that will raise at least $5,000, and up to $10,000, for the Arts Community Coalition Nevada (ACCNV), a nonprofit dedicated to facilitating community art projects that enable local artists to thrive.

The in-store fundraising effort is part of the Goodwill Care-to-Care Nonprofit Fundraising Partnerships program, which invites Goodwill thrift store customers to contribute a dollar or more at checkout to support both Goodwill training scholarships and a monthly local nonprofit organization.

“Local artists rely on Goodwill for unique, vintage, and useful items that can be upcycled, repurposed, or utterly transformed into inspiring new creations,” said Goodwill of Southern Nevada Chief of Marketing and External Relations Bryan Stewart. “Through our partnership with ACCNV, we are proud to support local artists and the inspiring creations they bring to our public spaces.”

“The ACCNV was born out of the need to provide opportunities for local artists to have sustainable careers in the state they call home,” said ACCNV Executive Director and UNLV MFA graduate Bailey Anderson. “The funds raised at Goodwill will support murals, exhibits, and installations that enable them to develop as creative professionals, showcase their work, and enrich our community.”

Goodwill thrift store customers can contribute to Goodwill and ACCNV programs of service by donating a dollar or more during checkout.
