Goodwill of Southern Nevada of Southern Nevada to Open New Thrift Store and Donation Center on Hwy 160 in Pahrump
Nonprofit continues longstanding support of Pahrump Valley communities
PAHRUMP, Nev. (June 15, 2026) – On Friday, July 10, Goodwill of Southern Nevada (Goodwill®) will open a new retail thrift store on S. Hwy 160 in Pahrump . The new store, which replaces the Loop Road store that opened in 2013, will offer tens of thousands of unique clothing, housewares, electronics, and other gently used items generously donated by the Pahrump Valley community and carefully prepared every day for sale by the store’s team members.
“Establishing a newly built Goodwill retail store and donation center in the center of Pahrump’s commercial area will provide the level of convenient service residents of this growing area deserves,” said Goodwill of Southern Nevada President and CEO Rick Neal. “Neighbors throughout the area will donate and shop with the pride of knowing they are supporting Goodwill workforce development programs that offer free career and job training to Pahrump Valley residents, in addition to opportunities at Goodwill.”
The Goodwill Pahrump Store at 546 S. Hwy 160 will be managed and operated by forty team members. The sale of gently used household items donated at the store will support Pahrump Valley High School’s participation in Goodwill’s Student Work Experience program (SWEP), which offers high school special education students the opportunity to gain real work experience, confidence, and a feeling of belonging. During the 2025-26 school year, eleven Pahrump Valley High School student volunteers, supported by eleven instructors, volunteered weekly to greet customers, organize clothing, merchandise household items, and learn other job skills.
Donations are accepted during store hours: Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
